I just recently discovered a duo out of Boston called Sonnymoon and I love their video (directed by Lauren Santorio). The song is called "Run Away" off of their LP Golden Age. The stop-animation is super dope! Kind of reminds me of Harold And the Purple Crayon (shout out to my 1st grade teacher Mrs. Rock!).
Anyways, they definitely have a nice sound. Sort of Little Dragon meets Bat For Lashes... LOVE!

This day in age, people so easily lose touch with their very humanity. Society pushes human beings to strive further and further for perfection, so much so that people expect themselves and others to have inhuman characteristics. Hello, Heidi Montag (chick is off her rocker)?!!
People try to make themselves numb to the trials and tribulations of life... Relationships, family, our success (or lack thereof), etc. This song is basically a PSA advocating that we, as human beings, should not be afraid of admitting our vulnerability, accepting our humanity, and being the warm-blooded, emotional, excitable, fragile creatures that we are. It's about embracing your imperfections rather than trying to cover them up. I concur.
Anyways, I like this video... It's a little weird, but I like weird. And it makes me wish I could walk around with colorful rhinestones glued to my eyelids and lips without people staring at me like I'm crazy.
